iWalt.com

Slightly less busted than it was last week.

Inching Along

A couple of readers pointed out that the unofficial Penny Arcade feed was on the fritz. I’ve fixed it, made it smarter about how it collects data, and added links back to the PA home and merchandise pages.

Another reader asked whether he could get a higher resolution version of the hummingbird photo for use as a desktop background. I’ve updated the post with a link to the original image file along with a license and a donation box.

Finally, since we’re trying to get rid of some stuff around here (some of it rather desperately), I’m working on transforming the iWalt.com Store into more of a flea market. If you or anyone you know wants our stuff, please take it! =-)

Spiderweb

Spiderweb

From our walk around Burlingame, an impressively large spiderweb.

Kitesurfers

A kitesurfer, flipping across the bay.

Rob and I were out by the water today and spotted a slew of kitesurfers zipping and flipping and flying across the bay.

Rachelle on Chicago Public Radio

Rachelle was interviewed by the show Eight Forty-Eight for Chicago Public Radio. The interview was spawned by a post of Chicago food sites for Chicagoist, of which Rachelle is an editor.

Here’s the interview.

Nikon D70

A hummingbird in midflight.

I have a new camera.

[Update: You can now download the original, uncropped, high resolution version of this photo. Feel free to make a donation if you like. Here’s the license.]

Burlingame

I just wrote a nice, long post about our new place which included many thanks to Dad and Art and Rob for helping us get our stuff over here, a couple of hilarious observations on the various shortcomings of our new home, and a denunciation of U-Haul and their disgusting bait-and-switch tactics… and then I lost the whole damn thing. Good night everybody.
